Strong as an ox
Strength and durability combined with excellent abrasion resistance. A mainline you can put your confidence in.
Load it once. Forget about it.

I have been using the PB control line in 18lb for about four years now and swear by it. I’m sure it is actually stronger than they say, as over gravel and Zebra mussels it has never given way. And at only .30 diameter it is actually thinner than most makes of 15 lb line. It casts superbly, sinks well, and is a good neutral colour that blends into all lake beds.
It’s one thing I don’t have to worry about when playing a good fish, just concentrate on playing the fish, and netting it. Simple…. Well almost👍
OMG, originally bought as it was in a sale. It's now my go to line. There is nothing else like it. It lays beautifully, casts like a dream, has a very low diameter for its strength. I use the 24lb for snaggy waters and its never let me down. The line is super smooth and I've read that it can cause issues with friction knots but I've not experienced it. I do tend to use a palomar where I can anyway. All in all a great line, use it, you won't be dissapointed.
Just loaded two reels this afternoon it's early days but the line feels unlike anything ive tried before. I hope to put it through it's paces at east delph next week 🙏
This line is a great choice; it is very durable and hard to snap on underwater roots or other snags. Most importantly, it doesn't form loops or tangles when slack—it’s a really good choice.
Recently brought the 18lb and the 24lb PB control mono
I spooled up three reels with 24lb as I have a three night session coming up with the potential of a few decent 30 to 40s
Spooled the 18 on my regular set up line lay was really good and I’ve caught so far approx 14 carp from 16lb to 24lb with no issues
Casts really well no line twist either
I like the look and feel of the line ( I was having problems with my previous make of line as it was curling around my top rod eye almost immediately.) I think that catching a 41lb carp (which is my pb) the first time I used it, really helped me to like the line . I already have a lot of confidence in its reliability.
Only used for the first time last week after spooling and this was my result 31.2 and four others 22-18- 14 and a 12 well impressed will definitely use again when need to spool again 👍

Dear Tim!
It's fantastic to hear you had such a successful first experience using our PB line, hooks, and jellywire during your fishing trip in France. We're thrilled that you love the products and appreciate you sharing your positive feedback.
Our team works hard to develop high-performance gear like the Control Mono 1250m, and it's incredibly rewarding to know it's making a difference in your angling adventures.
Thanks again for your wonderful review; we can't wait to see what you catch next with PB Products!
I've been using PB Control Mono on a heavily weeded pit lake, and it's been excellent. It's stood up incredibly well to constant punishment from thick weed and mussel beds without letting me down. The bite indication has been great, and for a 25lb breaking strain, it's impressively thin.
I recently landed this stunning 36lb carp using it, which has given me even more confidence in the line. I absolutely love it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone fishing demanding venues.
I have been using PB Control for about 7 orc8 years now. I wouldn't contemplate using any thing else. It casts well, brilliant abrasion resistance, just does everything really well. Ive used it both at home and on the continent and never had and problems.
First time using pb products mono I followed the instructions soaked the line for 24 hours before loading it on to my reels. I've just used it on a 48 hour session and must say it's one of the best behaved monos I've ever used silky soft with virtually no memory. My mate was so impressed he's going to buy some as well. Unfortunately we both blanked so can't say what the lines like with a fish on but fishing vast low stocked gravel pits isn't easy fishing which is how we like it . Overall a great line.
